The filmmaking specializations at AISFM give students the chance to combine technical film and TV training with a broad liberal arts program.
In addition to filmmaking, students will also receive classes in mass communication, advertising, literature, theory and graphic arts.
This knowledge makes our students more valuable to our network of placement partners from across India and provides access to a wider range of post-graduate study options.
Students also take part in exciting exchange programs with some of the world’s top film schools, enabling an understanding of international production differences and helping students to build personal networks that span the globe.
The Cinematography specialization creates masters of light and color. Students learn a range of camera, lighting and grip equipment as they move from exercises to increasingly complex projects.
The Sound specialization provides students with all the skills required to become excellent sound designers. Students also develop key skills in sound, recording and editing.
While all students will learn film and TV direction, you will also select one specialization for advanced study:
The Editing specialization teaches students how to master postproduction techniques used across the globe. Students move from simple to complex editing including advanced DI operation
